The Tour

Beyond the hall lies a breathtaking chamber, where ceilings tower five metres above and soaring sash windows line the south-facing façade. A brooding palette of industrial steel, black cement floors, granite and glass are employed to an arresting effect. This open-plan swathe is arranged as kitchen, dining, snug and living space, where in the latter, a fireplace is set at the foot of a steel feature wall.

Folded steel steps rise to the mezzanine landing and gallery space, which overlooks the length of the living space, and to a gym which links to the main bathroom suite. This principal suite occupies the south-western corner and contains a walk-in wardrobe and steps up to a gallery bathroom clad in lava stone. Two further bedrooms along the northern aspect contain en suite showers. A fourth room has been designed as a library/workspace, with bespoke dark-stained joinery and its own sitting room arranged around an open fireplace.

Outdoor Space

The communal areas and gardens are meticulously maintained by a caretaker and a team of gardeners. The apartment comes with two parking spaces within the gated grounds.

The Area

The Village can be found on Amies Street, a quiet residential road between Clapham Junction and Battersea. Nearby Clapham Old Town and Northcote Road are both excellent shopping areas offering a broad range of outstanding independent shops and restaurants. Battersea Park Road has become well-known for its high-end mid-century furniture shops, and Battersea Square has some excellent restaurants and bars. The green spaces of Battersea Park and Clapham Common are equidistant, and there is easy access to the river and Chelsea just over the bridge.

Clapham Junction station is a short walk away, reaching Victoria or Waterloo in under 10 minutes and with services to the south and west of England. The London Overground goes to Kensington and west London in one direction, and Peckham and south-east London in the other. By road, the A3 can be picked up at Wandsworth for quick routes out of London to the south of England.
